For nearly 40 years, Marist Abroad Program (MAP) has offered students the opportunity to experience and understand other cultures as part of their academic careers. The MAP is designed to give students the opportunity to participate actively in another culture by attending a foreign university and interacting with a host culture and society on a personal level. Students will not only advance their academic careers, but have a chance to expand their sense of what constitutes "international," to experience the day-to-day adventures of living in a foreign country, and to learn how others from different cultures interact with their world.
You can choose to go for a semester or academic-year; you can even choose to go on two separate programs to two different countries! Be more than a tourist; experience what it means to live and study abroad. But above all else, learn more about yourself as a person and what it truly means to be international.
Call the MAP (845.575.3330) or e-mail (international@marist.edu) us to learn about our current programs.
