Tutors provide homework assistance at the Poughkeepsie Middle School, Poughkeepsie High School from 3-4:45 p.m. They may also serve as mentors with middle school students. Mentors are matched with one or two students and they meet on campus on a weekly basis. They engage their mentee in reading and writing activities and give mini-college tours. Training is provided. |
