If you've graduated from Marist in the last decade, then you are a member of the group we classify as "young alumni." We have designed programs especially for you, whether you're entering the work force or settling into your first home with your new family.
The purpose of the Young Alumni Committee is to increase young alumni participation in the Marist Alumni Association and the College, by developing partnerships and the creation of programming initiatives. The committee will also work to provide resources to alumni clubs for young alumni programming.
Thomas DePace ’07 is the Director of Marketing for Advance Sound Company, a system integration firm based out of Farmingdale, New York, where he coordinates everything from marketing communications to special interest sales. As a past member of the Marist Band, Thomas is an avid saxophone player and disk jockey.
Matthew DePace ’08 is a member of the most recent graduating class of Marist. Already establishing himself as a prominent non-profit fundraiser, Matthew is a consultant for some of the world’s most notable charities. A once former president of the Marist Band, Matthew is now working toward promoting music in his local community.
The Young Alumni Committee also includes a Young Alumni Representative from each regional chapter of the Marist Alumni Association. If you are interested in becoming a Young Alumni Representative or would like to suggest a young alumni event for your area you can contact the Young Alumni Representative for your chapter or contact Bobbi Sue Gibbons (bobbi.s.gibbons@marist.edu) or Lisa Ciesluk (lisa.ciesluk@marist.edu) in the Marist Advancement Office.
