Kick off the weekend and join us for an informal gathering at Mahoney's Irish Pub and Restaurant at Dooley Square, 35 Main Street, Poughkeepsie (the old J.D. Johnson building behind the train station)
7:00 p.m. to ???
Drink specials will be offered and appetizers will be provided.
During the day plan to mix and mingle with your classmates under the Class of '68 reunion tent at the Alumni Family Picnic on the Campus Green from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Beer, wine and food will be available for purchase.
On Saturday evening, at 6:30 p.m., please gather with us outside the Donnelly Hall main entrance to dedicate a flagpole in honor of our 40th reunion. The Marist women's a cappella group, the Sirens, will perform the National Anthem, Father Richard LaMorte will offer a Blessing, and the Marist ROTC Colorguard will retire the existing flag. Paul Rinn will present President Murray with a very special flag given to him by the United States Marine Corp from the USMC Barracks at 8th and I Street in Washington, DC, to be permanently displayed at the College to remember Marist alumni and friends who have given their lives for their nation. It flew over the Capitol Building, Marine Corp Memorial, and Pentagon on the anniversary of 9/11.
If you haven't already contributed to the flag pole or Class of '68 scholarship fund, please contact Bob West or Jack Eberth in the Office of College Advancement at robert.west@marist.edu or jack.eberth2@marist.edu.
Celebrate your 40th Reunion in style in the new Press Booth/Hospitality Suite overlooking Tenney Stadium at Leonidoff Field.
