"All of the professors I've had always get really involved with the class. I never feel like I'm just a number - small class sizes promote open and interesting conversations."
According to Sophomore Scott Harrison, the best thing about Marist is the friendly atmosphere in the classroom. "All of the professors I've had always get really involved with the class. I never feel like I'm just a number - small class sizes promote open and interesting conversations."
This history and adolescence education major from Rutherford, NJ is involved in many activities outside of the classroom, including Teachers of Tomorrow, Campus Ministry, The Circle (campus newspaper) and intramural softball. Scott is also looking forward to studying abroad in Ireland next year as a junior. One of the most interesting things he has been involved in was the Freshman Talent show last year.
After graduating from Marist and attending graduate school, Scott is interested in returning to his hometown to teach because - as he says, "My teachers have had such a positive influence on me."
