We accepted 37% of the nearly 9,200 students who applied for a seat in the entering class of 2012. This year's freshmen include more than 1,030 students from all corners of the map. In the Midwest, students enrolled from Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Ohio; on the west coast from Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington; from the north Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont; from the mid-Atlantic Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania; and from the south, Florida, Louisiana, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia. We even have students from Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands and several countries around the world!
